Johnny’s on Oak

Amazing food! It was my first time trying Greek cuisine, and I couldn’t stop eating. The hospitality was incredible!! Thank you, Johnney! We’ll definitely be back.

Best pizza crust. Their pizza reminds me of the pizzas back in the 70's and 80's when there were pizza restaurants all over town. They're slowly fading away. And I have to say, making pizza's like this has become a lost art that the younger generations don't know how to appreciate. This place is basically the same but better. Neighbours restaurant version 2.0. Johnny's is a place I will have to come visit more often even though it's another town away from where I live. Good hearty lunch and my Boomer mum liked her old fashioned baked pasta. My brother commented how great the pizza crust was. Kinda wish I was single and lived in the area again. Oh, and loved the Caesar salad.

WOW! after all these years i finally made it. It’s my birthday today and Jonny’s came to my mind. We got the best table, which was located near the window, in away from other tables so we can enjoy our conversation. Me and my GF found it very romantic. Our server Andrea insanely rocked it! She made sure we got the best experience and our food was tasting out of this world. The calamari was done authentic and tasted so fresh. We also ordered the lamb dinner & beer souvlaki. I wouldn’t even think twice to come here! Trust me! go now it’s worth it :)

Nice family restaurant. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was good. I had the Souvlaki. Restaurant was very warm, needed a bit more AC. And the atmosphere is a bit warnout.

Visited Johnny’s on Oak and had an excellent experience. The Chicken Souvlaki and Shrimp Pizza were fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, more than enough for two people. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Greek and Mediterranean style food in Vancouver. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Met a friend here for dinner before going to the Festival of Lights at VanDusen Gardens and we both were surprised by how good our meals were. I had the spanokopita dinner, while my friend had the souvlaki dinner. The portions were certainly generous and tasty. The service was attentive in a cozy modern dining area. We both want to go back there. Highly recommend.
